Co-Owner of Envision Behavioral Health. Kenneth Parks is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Providence Rhode Island, who works with Adolescents and Adults. He provides treatment for Depression, anger, anxiety, adjustment issues of all types, stress management, college mental health, sports performance and substance abuse. He enjoys helping client's work through past and current stressors. Ken uses evidence-based practice that entails a clinical assessment so that the client and therapist both understand the current issues and then choose the best course of treatment needed.
The most valuable aspect of the therapeutic process is a trusting and collaborative relationship with your counselor. My approach is to help you reach the outcomes that are most helpful and important to you, while achieving a greater sense of fulfillment and a more effective way of coping with life’s stressors. We also run DBT and Anger management groups.
I have openings for new clients at my Providence office 2 Richmond Square Suite 208. At Envision Behavioral Health we have both male and female clinicians on staff that can provide treatment in a variety of areas. Envision Behavioral Health will start to run groups on DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)We will review the 4 modules of DBT such Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills and Distress Tolerance. The group will be 2X a week for 60 minutes.
