In the end, therapy boils down to two people talking, one of them trained to facilitate the other’s wellbeing and growth. Therapists' skills and methods matter a great deal. As an integrationist, I combine diverse approaches, including psychoanalysis and CBT and newer ones, like EMDR and IFS, and act as a leader in the field of psychotherapy integration.
I have over forty years of experience and have successfully worked with a wide variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, couples' relationships, and aging issues. I lecture nationally and internationally, and teach and supervise my colleagues in psychotherapy. My thoughts and ideas about therapy have been published in many journals.
