I specialize in working with children over five and their caregivers. My passion is supporting anyone faced with adverse experiences to realize their capacity to do hard things. Children who struggle behaviorally, socially, or academically will learn various movement-based strategies to support calming their nervous system. Caregivers and children develop an awareness of how specific movements support whole-brain integration in a safe, supportive setting ... all while having fun and bouncing a few racquetballs! I look forward to meeting you and joining you in your journey.
I'm trained in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics by the Child Trauma Academy. Through my study of Dr. Bruce Perry's work, I learned the importance of using "patterned, repetitive, and rhythmic movement" as an essential component in helping those who have experienced trauma or adversity. With adults, I utilize gentle movements and talk therapy.
I aim to empower those I work alongside by helping to boost confidence, embrace self-acceptance, and discover one's ability to overcome challenges. Call or text to inquire about scheduling options.
