My 'ideal' client is someone who's looking for support with wellness and recovery planning, and connection to a recovery community. If you are prescribed medications to help with cravings, engaging with counseling is a great complement to medication assisted treatment. If you are coming back home from detox, clinical stabilization, or residential treatment, and would like to keep 'the work' going, I am available to help.
I am both a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC-1), and a certified addiction recovery coach (CARC). Problem Gambling is an additional treatment specialty. I have lived experience with opiate addiction and recovery, and understand its impact within the family. My approach is helping folks reconnect with their strengths that blur during active SUD.
