I specialize in substance use disorders, PTSD, trauma, chronic illness, and depression/anxiety. I have worked in outpatient treatment centers such as IOPs and MAT programs, as well as individuals with co-occurring substance use and HIV+. I am an LGBTQ+ ally.
I graduated from Southern Methodist University with Bachelors in Biology and Psychology. I then moved on to St. Edward's University to receive my Master's in Counseling. I am an LPC, was formerly an LCDC, and I am trained in EMDR.
My approach is to create a comfortable environment where you feel heard, understood, and free to share what weighs you down. It is a collaborative experience; you are the expert on what you’re going through, and I’m here to help you process. I strive to create the atmosphere and relationship where you feel comfortable to open up—at your own pace.
