I have experience as a competitive athlete and can appreciate the impact an athlete’s mental health and performance can have due to a “bump in the training plan.” That’s where mental skills and mental performance is so important and I am here to help you find those skills! These skills aren’t limited to just athletes because we are humans on and off the field. We can explore our emotions and their impact on your daily performances and gaining self-awareness. These skills are so important not just in performances but in how to maneuver through life.
My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness, working with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, anger management, communication skills, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
I am honored to be able to help you navigate through challenging and exciting transitions in your life. I have an individualized approach to therapy and believe the client is in the driver seat while the therapist is a guide to help find and utilize the healthy tools.
