I enjoy working with kids, teens and young adults, and it is my mission to empower all my clients to express themselves emotionally in a non-judgmental environment. As a clinician I encourage all my clients to be honest and vulnerable by helping them build their confidence and increase their self-awareness. Together, we will achieve these goals and more by utilizing a range of different therapeutic modalities, that includes CBT, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, DBT, and solution focused therapy. Play therapy techniques are also used for those of my younger clients.
My clinical specializations include depression, emotional regulation, anxiety, LGBTQ+ specific issues, self-esteem, social inequalities, stress, and trauma. It is my role as a therapist to help assist you in a safe and trusted environment to create positive change for a better mental, emotional, and social well-being.
My goal is to help you apply skills to increase self-awareness and apply new coping skills when faced with life’s unexpected challenges. I know it is not always easy to start therapy, but know together we will work through these challenges, and I will ensure that you feel accepted, heard, and encouraged every step of the way.
