Hi, I'm Kelsey Huynh! I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals and families heal traumas and build their vision, foundation and momentum towards the lives they want to live. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults, both as individuals and as families. I have worked with those looking to survive and thrive through various life and family stages and stressors. My main focus is currently on helping those who are pregnant or with young children transition into parenthood through healing traumas and nurturing connections and habits for a healthier future.
My approach is person-centered and integrative, basing interventions on the strengths and goals of the client. I provide a non-judgmental environment for clients to explore what they are ready to, such as past hurts and successes, present challenges and resources, and/or future hopes and fears.
Approaches like motivational interviewing and EMDR are a part of my practice, but fostering the quality of relationships is truly at the heart of it all. The therapeutic relationship, and the relationships you have with yourself and with others is an important consideration I have throughout each phase of our work together.
