I am energized by people. And I’m passionate about being a companion for people within the difficult parts of their lives. No one deserves to be in suffering alone. It is important to me for others to be seen and heard. I have also experienced being alone and my passion for therapy is rooted in connection. and finding connection within vulnerability as healing on its own. The impact of societal pressure to “be happy” or “move on” or act like we are okay is pervasive and damaging.
In practice, I believe that each client is an expert of their own experience and a need for collaboration of needs and desires. Empowerment and support of strengths along with managing difficulties, is a tailored approach to each client. The goal is to offer a safe space to empower each client to explore emotions, develop strategies, and connect to emotions.
A culmination of modalities fit with my values along with a psychodynamic approach with an emphasis in Belief Systems Analysis. I work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. I am a companion providing empathy, acceptance, respect and connection. I offer a consultation appointment and finding a therapist can be difficult and daunting.
