In therapy, we work within 3 major questions: Where am I now? Where am I going? How do I want to get there? I aim to use my direct, supportive, and validating style of communication and reflection to help clients discover their answers to these questions.
I utilize mixes of cognitive behavioral theory (active listening, thought reframing, problem-solving, perspective-taking, coping skills, self-care activities) and self-determination theory (connection to others, autonomy) to help clients reestablish feelings and experiences of balance, vibrance, control, fun, and success in their daily lives.
