Kelly received her Master’s degree from The Silver School of Social Work at New York University, after receiving a Bachelors of Social Work from Sacred Heart University. Kelly is also a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C), specializing in working with young adults and women navigating transitions and various challenges within their lives. She has worked with young adults, new moms, women experiencing perinatal mood disorders, postpartum depression or anxiety, and perimenopause symptoms.
She incorporates multiple treatment modalities within her work, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She also integrates systems theory and solution focused therapy into practice.
Kelly utilizes a person-centered approach to collaborate with clients in a compassionate and gentle manner while empowering individuals to recognize their strengths. Her passion in treatment is developing trusting therapeutic relationships that support well-being and recovery.
