Life brings about all ranges of human emotion and reaction. As we are all individuals, we have different perspectives on the challenges that tend to suddenly appear at our doorstep. It is a powerful realization to recognize when those experiences become too overwhelming to manage alone. Through a variety of psychodynamic, humanistic and behavioral theories, I work to use an integrative approach to therapeutic intervention in order to fit the treatment to the individual.
I graduated with my master's degree in Social Work from Michigan State University. I specialize in depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational issues and life transitions in adolescents and adults. I was also a high school teacher for 22 years which aids in my understanding of human psychological development.
