My ideal client is ready to contemplate change to relieve their suffering. It is a joy to see clients meet their goals of feeling better from anxiety and depression. I love to work with clients who are willing to identify their strengths and their challenges to become more connected with themselves and those who are close to them.
I am a strength-based, Trauma informed therapist with a Family Systems Rogerian approach, believing that all humans have the capacity for optimal growth and functioning. I believe that Psychotherapy can be an incredibly transformative and healing experience; it is my goal to provide a nurturing, safe, and healing atmosphere for individuals of all ages.
My small private practice is expanding now that I am no longer with child welfare after 20 years. I am now given the opportunity to see more clients. We take this journey together. You are responsible for setting your goals and working toward change outside of therapy hour as well as during it. My role is to educate and support you during this process.
