Do you ever feel like you are just putting band-aids on problems without really ever getting to the root of what is causing the pain? I am an outcomes oriented therapist with the skill set to help my clients achieve success. Some of the greatest client successes I have witnessed are clients who have experienced dramatic relief from debilitating depression and anxiety symptoms, through working through unresolved trauma.
I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization. Both of these evidence based treatments can be effective interventions for unresolved trauma along with PTSD, grief, depression and anxiety symptoms. I am experienced in working with adults with developmental disabilities and have experience in ADHD Focused Couples Counseling.
I am a down to earth therapist with a healthy sense of humor. I would consider my approach as motivational. Healing and making long lasting changes can be difficult. I look forward to a collaborative effort to make this process a little easier.
