I have worked with children and families in community mental health services for the past ten years. I earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington in 2018 and am currently working toward independent licensure.
I've worked with teens and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, loss, eating disorders, and a low sense of self-worth. My goal is to empower individuals to find self-compassion, acceptance, and to create desired change in their lives.
The choice to start therapy is a scary one and the process can be discouraging. I focus on validating lived experiences while facilitating conversation that provides insight into how those experiences impact our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Humans are imperfect and inherently worthy of comfort, safety, and peace.
