I specialize in working with women experiencing stress, anxiety, eating disorders, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, depression, career transitions, relationship issues and low self-esteem. My approach to therapy is to partner with you to help build confidence and independence. I feel that genuineness and warmth play a vital role in the healing process. I utilize cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and strengths-based techniques to manage symptoms and psychodynamic approaches to address underlying causes.
My goal is to create a supportive and safe space for exploration and change and to empower you to get back to living a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I provide skills to increase awareness of problematic patterns that lead to feeling 'stuck' in daily life including relationships, career, health and self-esteem.
I received my master's in Mental Health Counseling from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and have clinical experience at Jacobi Medical Center, Hartford Healthcare and Center for Discovery Eating Disorder Treatment. I have specialized trainings in the treatment of eating disorders, maternal health and anxiety.
