I became a therapist due to my deeply-rooted empathy for people of all ages experiencing the various challenges of life. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and parents at all stages of their therapeutic journeys. At the beginning of treatment, I focus on creating a solid therapeutic relationship and meet clients where they’re at so that they feel safe to explore, grow, and find empowerment. I utilize a relational and trauma-informed approach along with a variety of other evidence-based modalities to assist clients in achieving their goals. We can work on creating goals together.
I also believe in using a collaborative approach, whether with just the client and I, or with family members, caregivers, or other providers. Healing happens in relationships, both inside and outside of the therapy office. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, socio-political stress, & life transitions.
I am also experienced in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and with neurodivergent individuals in helping them better understand themselves and how to navigate a society that often is not inclusive of our neurodiverse world. In my practice I use an integrative approach that pulls from several therapeutic modalities.
