I was once a young person sitting in a therapist's office and I found the experience to be stale, impersonal, and hurried. As a direct reaction, I am passionate about creating an environment that is fun, goofy, creative, interactive, and YOU-centered. While you are here, no matter your age or what we are working through, we can play games, read books, and make art. We'll learn somatic techniques; we'll create resources that are tailored to your needs; and we will work together to figure it (whatever "it" is) out.
My passion lies in creating a safe space for children, parents and caregivers, and individual people to work on and through dysfunctional behavior patterns, emotional dysregulation, and traumatic experiences.
As your therapist, I will provide a secure, nonjudgmental space where you, the expert in your life, can show up as you are and receive the care you deserve. I am an informal, skill-based clinician. I believe in showing up as my authentic self and meeting clients where they are. Welcome to therapy; I'm glad you're here.
