Kelli focuses on mood disorders, substance use, addiction, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Her approach can include cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies. Kelli understands firsthand what it feels like to struggle with mental health. She has suffered from panic attacks, depression, and used drugs and alcohol to numb her feelings. Kelli’s work with students at the Goleta Boys & Girls Club allowed her to travel with kids and teenagers to national parks, local camping spots, and on backpacking trips.
The experience helped her realize she wanted to pursue a career in counseling and help teens and young adults find support and healing through others, nature, and mindfulness.
Kelli was raised in California and has lived in Santa Barbara for 27 years. She has been married to her husband for 15 years and together for 20 years. They have a Maltipoo, a leopard gecko, and a dwarf hamster. They enjoy listening to music, spending time at the beach, and visiting family in Ojai.
