I treat most issues, including trauma. This does not only mean capital "T" trauma, like outright abuse or natural disasters; rather, we have learned that chronic stress can cause the same kinds of mental, physical, and emotional suffering. EMDR is one of the treatment modalities I employ. I have two great therapy dogs who help, too.
I take an integrative approach to therapy. This means we take into consideration your values, world view, spirituality, physical health, and history, in addition to your present challenges. I treat the whole person, always respecting who you are, and never attempting to impose my world view.
