I believe that change occurs when we are met with compassion, deep listening and provided with a sense of hope. I focus specifically on traumatic grief with an understanding there is no wrong way to feel, no timeline or expectations. My approach is individualized and draws upon several interventions such as the ATTEND Model, mindfulness and CBT. I come from a trauma-informed perspective and believe that each person's experience is unique with their own strengths to be utilized. Many of my clients have lost loved ones due to suicide, homicide, accidental deaths, medical malpractice, unresolved deaths and long term illnesses.
I promise to offer a safe and compassionate space to transform suffering and pain into purpose and meaning. Many of my clients reach out to me due to my specialized training and experience in grief. I believe in ongoing training and research with grief. I also see clients for other issues that concern many different types of life transitions.
We are a small practice that focus primarily on grief but understand loss often accompanies overlapping concerns, family changes, employment and relationship issues.
