For over 10 years, I have worked closely with families, adolescents, young adults and elders as they have transition through various stages of life. Life transitions can bring about varying emotions that could impact our mental health and wellness. This could be expressed by depression, anxiety, or feelings that show up in our bodies. Work related stress, medical diagnosis, new educational ventures, traumatic life events, changes in family systems and institutional systems can impact how we connect to ourselves and others. I seek to explore and process these emotions, while providing coping skills, to help you achieve your goals.
Healing and mental wellness can occur through a brave and connected therapeutic relationship. I use experiential and expressive arts techniques to assist in exploring, processing and achieving your goals. Talking while painting, walking in nature, breathing or group activity are interventions that can assist clients in moving past traditional talk therapy.
