As a mental health therapist, I see my role as a helper. I believe in meeting people where they are in a safe, positive, nurturing environment to create trusting relationships that can support change and acceptance. I believe in treating the whole person physically, mentally, and emotionally, as well as mind, body, and soul. I love assisting youth, individuals, and families with challenges they face interpersonally, at home, socially, and in the work or academic setting. I work with the littles, tweens, adolescents, individuals, and families. I am passionate about increasing behavioral health services in rural communities.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Montana), a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and have my certification in Synergetic Play Therapy. I have had training in Theraplay (level one). I specialize in rural mental health/social work and am passionate about decreasing stigma and increasing access to care for all.
I have worked in various settings, including crisis care, schools, hospitals, and private practice. Private practice is currently the best fit for meeting the needs of my rural community and my own family. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
