Everyone deserves to have a good day and a better tomorrow. I realize that taking on a personal change out of desire or necessity is often harder than it sounds. I work with all ages, life-stages, and conditions. People arrive with their bag of “stuff”: hopes, disappointments, wounds, trauma, diagnoses, and connections. I start where you are and work with you to create a path to a place of well-being.
I treat depression, anxiety, addictions, complex trauma, attachment, parenting and marital connection. I use many therapeutic frameworks, including: Internal Family Systems, narrative, psycho-dynamic, cognitive behavioral, and connective parenting to help people find meaning and hope in the everyday. I love hearing people's life stories.
Professional training includes a Master’s in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, where I focused on interventions for complex trauma and positive psychology. I'm glad to be a dad and a husband, and reside in Washtenaw County.
