Welcome! It is important for you to know that you are not alone in your sufferings and that change is possible. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of ages and backgrounds who are seeking relief and healing from different challenges, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, substance misuse, personality disorders, and end of life challenges.
I find it important to approach counseling with empathy and compassion. The trust and comfort that are built in the therapeutic relationship are crucial in the change process for all clients and I prioritize having a space in which clients feel heard, validated, and understood.
Starting therapy may seem like a scary, daunting task, which is completely understandable. I'm sure things haven't been easy leading up to this point. However, if you take this leap of faith, I can assure you that we will step into a relationship that is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and safe.
