My name is Kay Comstock-May. I am a former educator, leaving the education field to continue my higher education. While I hold many degrees, the most important are my Master of Science in Psychology, earned in 2012, from the University of Phoenix and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in marriage, couples, and family from Walden University, earned in May 2023. During my time as a counselor, I worked with a variety of individuals experiencing various symptoms and life adjustments. I have worked with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I have experience co-leading parenting classes.
Another area where I have knowledge and experience is with Active Duty and Veterans. I have first-hand knowledge of military family life with a former military spouse. I am also the mother of military members and veterans. I have experienced deployments, TDYs, PCS, and ETS at various levels. I am EMDR trained.
