Hey there! I’m Katy and I am a counselor specializing in individual trauma/anxiety/depression and couples issues. I work collaboratively with clients to help them move forward from distressing past experiences using a specialized technique called EMDR. I also have a passion for working with couples going through difficult or low points. I most often work with couples dealing with differences in desire, healing and moving forward from betrayal, and breaking negative conflict cycles. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to heal.
You can expect a session to be warm, comfortable, and even humorous. Using trauma training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, as well sex therapy specializing in desire, betrayal trauma, ENM/non-traditional relationships, and kink. The therapy space can be a supportive place to speak openly and authentically.
