My name is Kathleen, but everyone calls me Katy! I am a Richmond native, born and raised! I have my Master of Social Work and my Bachelor of Social Work from VCU (GO RAMS!). College and graduate school were where I found my passions. I have over a decade of experience working with adults, children, and families, those experiencing loss, and individuals with traumatic brain injury. Supporting others to feel empowered through their experience, is what I hope to bring to my client's therapy experience.
I love working with: Teens, families, children, folks experiencing loss, life transitions, life changes, mothers, trauma, anxiety, and any member of the adoption triad. Some of my favorite approaches include: I enjoy using a strengths based, person centered approach that incorporates family systems, and motivational interviewing.
Our Care Team genuinely cares and looks forward to matching you with myself or another therapist at Abundant Life Partners that would be a great fit.
