I specialize in somatic therapy, a trauma therapy focusing on body sensations to heal psychological wounds.
We talk about your problems and strengths, but we also focus on how the body responds to and holds on to stress and bracing. The goal is to help you learn you learn to regulate your nervous system and begin to live the life you hope for.
This involves tracking sensations without retraumatizing, allowing the body to complete its natural responses to threat, and restoring balance to the whole nervous system. Somatic Experiencing therapy helps to build resilience and foster a sense of safety, empowering you to integrate your past experiences and restore aliveness and connection.
