I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, and interpersonal issues. Building strong and shame-free relationships with clients is a priority in my personal practice. The vulnerability felt in therapy can be intimidating, so I value using connection as a tool of support. I've seen that creating connections rooted in mutual empathy and authenticity has helped my clients feel safe and supported, especially in times of deep vulnerability. Through a trauma-informed lens I also try to meet clients where they're at, following their desired pace and direction of growth.
I enjoy using relational and trauma-informed practices due to their focus on psychoeducation and coping skills, as well as processing personal history, attachment style, cultural and societal impacts, and more. These topics, alongside building connection with ourselves and our environment, are all ones I find valuable.
