It takes awareness and courage to make the steps necessary in seeking support, and I am passionate about creating a non-judgmental space that can provide safety and comfort. I have experience working with adolescents, adults and families. I have extensive expertise and a passion for working with adolescents and adults diagnosed with eating disorders, as well as providing support to the parents of those struggling. Other specialties include anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem challenges and body image concerns.
My therapeutic approach is aimed at identifying client strengths in a collaborative manner, and focuses on making each client feel that their unique needs are being acknowledged and met. I utilize a variety of evidence based treatment approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Family Based Treatment.
Through my warm and authentic approach, my goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to result in positive change. I believe that every individual has the capacity and capability to heal, and my job is to provide support and tools for your success.
