Whether clients are looking to learn more tools, explore new insights or just have a time & place to focus on themselves, I use my education, clinical experience and natural friendliness to build a relationship that supports and focuses on your goals. I am invested in creating a safe space for clients to be vulnerable and heard. I work to approach my clients with genuine warmth, encouragement, patience and willingness to learn, to build that safe connection and give clients space to grow.
The majority of my experience and training comes from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Common goals we could work on include; increasing coping skills, communication, self-acceptance, family strain, grief, relationships, trauma, self-injury, passive suicidal ideations, intense emotions and mindfulness.
It's not easy to let someone into your life and to be vulnerable, and we also all deserve support and to be seen. If you're anxious about starting therapy (especially virtual therapy), just remember we can go at your pace.
