I am an independently licensed clinical social worker who provides counseling for a wide variety of problems, tailoring specific strategies to each person's unique situation and personality. I have extensive experience over 15 years working with children (all ages), adolescents, adults, seniors, couples and families. Strategies may include a wide variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Expressive Therapy, movement based therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
I also specialize in parenting support and use attachment and acceptance-based strategies to help parents strengthen their relationships with their children, improve communication and increase cooperation and connection at home. Specialty in ADHD issues in children and adults.
I believe that the most powerful tool in therapy is a strong client / therapist relationship. It is through this connection that we learn from each other. It is not my job to judge you, shame you or give you rules. Instead, I want to help you develop the self-awareness, compassion and acceptance to improve your quality of life and relationships. Let's talk!
