I specialize in working with teens, adults, and families with addictions of all types, eating disorders, and body image issues. I also have vast experience working with trauma, life transitions, chronic pain, anxiety disorders, and depression in teens and adults. In addition, I like working with young adults and teens who are facing transitions into adulthood. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and that healing takes place on all levels- mind, body, and spirit. Nothing has gone wrong in your life to get you to this point of reaching out- we all need help at some point and you deserve to feel better!
I can let you guide the direction of our work together, as well as provide a more structured approach as needed. I am direct and loving, which I believe are integral to building the therapeutic relationship. My clients tell me that I am authentic, compassionate, and down-to-earth, and I can be your greatest advocate as we work together toward your goals.
In recovery myself, I am passionate about working with those who are brave enough to seek help to bring them in closer alignment with their authentic selves. I have worked in the field of addiction and eating disorders for many years, both as a clinician and as part of leadership teams, and I would be genuinely honored to work with you as well.
