Welcome! My biggest priority as a therapist is building a relationship based on partnership, empowerment, and client-identified strengths. It is important to me that clients feel safe and free to be their whole selves in sessions. I enjoy working with individuals who are in the LGBTQIA+, neuro-divergent, and/or disability communities and am specialized in mood regulation, stress reduction, focus and attention, social skills, harm-reduction, and self-esteem challenges.
My therapeutic belief is that creativity and collaboration combined with evidence-based modalities lead to a unique and effective treatment strategy. I blend CBT, DBT, experiential, somatic, and animal-assisted techniques to create a treatment plan that best fits each individual's needs.
As a lifelong equestrian I personally have experienced the healing power of animals, and am happy to offer animal and eco-assisted therapy on a farm through my group practice, Aviv.
