When you are struggling with the complications that come with PTSD, trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, or behavioral issues for yourself (or your child, it can be so hard to gain perspective. All your life experiences can make it hard to see your way through your current season. You may feel lost, alone, and struggling to know what to do next. Having a warm and inviting environment can help you (and/or your child) feel more grounded and able do the work needed to get through and learn to flourish. Through our therapeutic relationship, I can help you navigate through your struggles in order to live your life in full bloom.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, and am certified in EMDR. I also have extensive training in learning how to incorporate play therapy techniques, sand tray, expressive arts, and movement with EMDR in a way that helps me create the right fit for what each client, couple, or family presents as needs.
I've been helping clients live life more fully since 2009. I love working with clients of all ages. Each session is a chance to help a client navigate their way out of being stuck and stagnant. It is an honoring experience getting to collaborate with clients as we get to decide goals and enjoy finding lasting change and progress.
