For over 30 years, I have been collaborating with my clients to address life's challenges with increased ease. I provide a safe environment to work through these challenges and will support your efforts towards growth, change and healing. My interactive style helps modify self defeating patterns which can block your efforts to live more consciously and mindfully. I partner with my clients to enhance self awareness, empower a greater sense of personal choice, navigate personal dilemmas, and achieve greater satisfaction at work and in personal and family relationships and work to heal past and current wounds.
Particular areas of interest include substance mis-use, parenting concerns, individuals with chronic illness and their families, grief and loss. I also help individuals coping with psychotic disorders to maintain recovery. I have advanced clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and have provided trainings and clinical supervision for over years.
I am especially skilled at working with individuals in the helping professions, with those in the creative community, and with individuals new to therapy. I work comfortably through a lens of racial, gender and cultural awareness. I am experienced in helping those facing acute/chronic illness, and in helping clients work through grief/loss and mourning.
