I bring years of life experience to my professional training in the field of therapy. I have worked in the field of mental health and addictions for over twenty years. I am passionate about giving back and empowering you to live the life you want to live. I believe everyone needs understanding and encouragement. I work with my clients to change their unhealthy core beliefs systems and incorporate new, healthy thinking and beliefs.
During the first session it is about discussing what has brought you to therapy. Discussing your goals and what you would like to achieve. This will help use to create a tailored treatment plan that we will work through together during follow-up sessions.
I feel that my greatest strengths as a therapist is knowledge and experience regarding my primary treatment modality, as well as my genuine care for my client’s emotional well-being. I want to provide a safe space where you will feel comfortable but challenged to make a change.
