I look forward to helping clients get to know how they hold emotions in mind and body to release what is stuck and not helping them. I want my clients to find a deeper understanding of their core self and gain insight into how our past affects present relationships and struggles. I enjoy working from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapies, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered, and CBT. For the last 23 years I have been working with kids, teens, adults and couples.
My specialties include individual and couples therapy using Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, CBT, ACT, Person centered and child centered play therapy. I am trauma informed. Areas of interest are depression/anxiety, shame, self-worth, unburdening areas that keep us stuck, disordered eating/eating disorders, grief/loss, intimacy blocks and communication.
