Whether support for you looks like understanding and challenging behaviors, learning what a healthy relationship looks like, or shifting negative beliefs about yourself, I work with my clients to identify values and goals which will guide our work together. I believe in the power of feeling heard and understood by another person to feel empowered to create change that might feel too hard to do by yourself.
I have experience at the residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient levels of care treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders, mood disorders, and substance misuse. I utilize talk therapy, work from skill building modalities such as ACT, DBT, and CBT, and enjoy bringing art into sessions.
Reaching out for support is brave and can feel hard to do at times. I provide support through encouragement, accountability, and humor and creates safety in session to allow clients to be themselves and feel heard and understood.
