Being able to be comfortable enough to share your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences takes a lot of courage and determination. My name is Kathryn Jilek and I am a Licensed Social Worker. I have been practicing social work for over 14 years. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development Family Sciences and have a Master's Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. I have counseled individuals of various ages, genders and economic statuses that have had mental health, substance
alcohol issues, and physical health struggles. I have worked with preschool/school-aged children who have had severe behavioral problems, hospice patients, pregnant women going through alcohol and drug withdrawal, alcohol abuse/dependency and those who fall on the autism spectrum. I have worked in various environments and collaborated with different teams
including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, teachers, behavioral specialists, occupational therapists, staff from children/adult protected services, nursing homes and senior options.
