I am trained in EMDR therapy and am working towards being certified. I have extensive training in trauma, specifically attachment trauma in kids and teens. I have worked in an LGBTQIA+ mental health facility for over 6 years and am also part of the queer community.
I am a late-in-life therapist. When my oldest kiddo was in high school, they came out to me as being transgender. After a brutal year of high school and their mental health challenges, they went off to college and I started grad school! My heart is for the queer community and those who love them! BONUS: I work with a therapy dog named Daisy Joy!
