I work to help improve the quality of life for anyone experiencing obstacles that are limiting their potential to achieve the most happiness and peace within themselves. I utilize a variety of therapuetic modes that best fit a person's needs. I have worked with all populations, am trained in and have taught the importance of multiculturalism. It's important to understand one's culture to offer the appropriate help. I meet the person where they're at and help to carry them forward. My philosophy is what most consider problems, I see as challenges, opportunities to learn and grow.
I specialize in a variety of issues including: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Couples Therapy, Bipolar Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, Gender Identity Disorder, Body Image issues and family members effected by addiction. I treat adults from ages 18-100. I use Psychodynamic Therapy (traditional talk therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
