I have over eight years of experience working in the mental health field with a variety of diverse populations. I believe in the incorporation of multicultural awareness and cultural humility in all aspects of my clinical work. I apply a CBT theoretical foundation to therapy incorporating strengths-based approaches, positive psychology, and mindfulness practices. I work to provide clients with a safe space in which to explore their current concerns, unpack their personal history, and positively develop their identity.
I focus on helping clients with anxiety, depression, coping skills, stress, self-worth, relationship concerns, and identity development. I provide culturally alert counseling to children, adolescent, adult, and LGBT populations. I offer individual, family, and couples therapy and I am polyamory and kink informed.
