Hello, I am the Reverend Dr. Kathey M. Wilborn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW15195) for the past 34 years with a history working with multi-generational client-children, youth, and adults. I have a passion for each person to live to their full potential physically, spiritually, financially, emotionally, and psychologically. My therapeutic approach is using a client-centered approach. I work to learn about the distress being experienced through a psycho-social assessment.
I use the assessment to work with the client in developing a plan forward which may include techniques from a variety of therapy modules (eclectic method) including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, solution-focused strategies, and strength-based approach.
I build upon the client’s strengths, prior personal growth, and resilience in enhancing the client’s overall well-being. During our first session, we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy and your hopes for therapy. I will answer any questions you may have.
