My extensive experience working in school settings has helped me develop a deep understanding of the unique mental health and learning needs that one navigates (elementary, highschool, college, post-grad). This work has allowed me to hone my skills in providing compassionate and effective therapy to help one thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
One of my biggest strengths is a positive working alliance with my clients as this forms the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. When clients feel connected with their therapist, they are more likely to trust the therapeutic progress, be open and honest in communication, & experience an increase in motivation to make progress towards their goals
