I offer individual and family therapy services in a private office setting in Lutherville, MD. I use a blended approach based on clients’ needs by integrating evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am trained in providing traditional talk therapy and can also help clients understand how artmaking can promote insight and connections to help achieve therapeutic goals. I offer clinical supervision for therapists seeking licensure (LCPAT). I am an experienced supervisor, training new therapist colleagues at work as well as interns from universities such as GWU and NDMU.
I am a board certified, licensed clinical therapist, and board approved supervisor with a Master’s in Art Therapy from George Washington University. I have been practicing as an Art Therapist for more than two decades. I have experience working as an individual, group, and family therapist addressing a broad range of diagnoses, stressors, trauma, and grief.
I have been an Art Therapist at Sheppard Pratt specializing in working with children on an inpatient unit. Prior to practicing at Sheppard Pratt, I was a Senior Therapist, working with adults at an RTC in MD. In a typical session we will talk and use art-making to promote understanding of client’s experience and strengths to help achieve their goals.
