Everyone deserves support and guidance amidst the unique challenges and transitions of life. My counseling practice offers two distinct specialties: one is a focus on adolescent girls and non-binary youth between the ages of 15-19. The other is supporting parents of all aged youth with ADHD to feel empowered with clear information about their child's neurodivergence. I am passionate about both of these unique experiences and seek to provide the opportunity to reflect, learn, and problem solve with an experienced therapist.
My style is gentle, calm, relational, and practical. I support parents of youth with ADHD in strengths based interventions to use at home and advocate for at school. In talk therapy with youth I am informed by mindfulness practices and utilize this wisdom in teaching self-regulation and self reflection skills.
In addition to being a therapist I am an adjunct professor in the Master of Social Work program at PSU. It is my goal to make quality therapy available to people of all incomes in my community. Please contact me for information regarding my sliding scale.
