Katherine Graves, LMFT, LPCC - I am in my 20th year as a licensed therapist. I completed my undergraduate and graduate work at California State University, Bakersfield. I take a client-centered approach and I specialize in treating clients with anxiety, stress, relational issues, grief, and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My communication style is calm, light, and personable. I strive to create a comfortable atmosphere in which clients feel they can discuss the topics they may find difficult in their lives. I want them to feel they are seen by me with genuine empathy and without judgment.
I feel it is my responsibility to my clients to make sure we build goals together. We will find ways together to challenge them with homework/exercises, and I will provide support as they move toward their goals. I will expect them to take an active role in their treatment goals.
