Distress, discomfort, and change are often behind life's most challenging moments. However, with support, these moments can serve as catalysts for significant growth. I work with young adults, adults, adolescents, and children who are navigating stressors such as symptoms of anxiety and depression, life transitions, family conflict, relationship issues, and identity exploration. I partner with clients to become curious about the patterns that may be appearing in their lives, discover and implement new coping strategies, and move forward with greater intention.
I use a mix of evidence-based interventions in my work. I individualize treatment using frameworks from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and sensorimotor psychotherapy. Through collaboration, we will identify your goals and explore the underlying processes that may be at play in your life.
As a relational therapist, I center my clients' lived experiences, honoring that they are the experts of their lives. I create a space that allows clients to find safety in vulnerability and to harness their own agency. I use radical empathy, humor, approachability, and a sense of lightness, when appropriate, to foster a strong therapeutic relationship.
